Pre-requisite: CGET 501 Integrated Life Sciences & CGAB 504 Pathobiology and Analysis of Disease at the Organism Level

The focus of this course is on pathobiology and analysis of disease at the population level. The course will provide students with principles and methods of epidemiology that are used as means to study clinical and public health problems. Different methods used in population research as well as data analysis will be part of case studies. Students are expected to present a summary of epidemiological research, highlighting the background information, methodology, results and discussion, as well as reviewing the strengths and weaknesses of the research design/approach, interpretation of the results, and proposed strategies for intervention and prevention of disease.
